The well-established Midweek Jazz Jam is a monthly jazz event open to all, held in the foyer next to the bar in an intimate atmosphere that transforms the club into a jazz cellar for the evening. Led by Natan Niddam (piano), Vincent Schmidt (guitar), Nicolas Bircher (bass), and Vincent Andreae (drums), this jam highlights a modern approach to jazz and improvisation. Each edition features a guest of honor, fostering musical encounters and exchanges. The guest for this midweek is Prune Karlen, a singer, songwriter, and composer from Lausanne. Influenced by nine years spent in Scotland, she creates songs blending chanson, folk, and jazz, with a focus on storytelling. In collaboration with vibraphonist and percussionist Clément Waquet, her music takes shape in a duo centered on space, texture, and musical interaction. After a series of concerts across Switzerland, including the Cully Jazz Festival, she released her first EP, Autrement, in April 2026. For this edition, she will be accompanied by the Midweek musicians.
