Lines of escape, of life, rails of one’s own. Valérian Guillaume crossed the story of the Lausanne native Martial Richoz, known as the bus‑man, who roamed the city with vehicles of his own invention, according to specific timetables and routes. After several years of playing in the city, he was eventually committed to a psychiatric facility in Cery. This sparked a public debate about the reception and support of difference in the city that houses a pioneering Art Brut Collection. Valérian Guillaume does not write the biography of Martial Richoz. He engages his own experience in the dream, the violences and inventiveness of the bus‑man to draw, from a bus shelter turned into a theater, his own paths of desire through the nets of normative normality. The project is designed for actor Simon Jacquard — carrier of an orphan disease and actor with a vibrant and musical presence — and presented in Vidy on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Collection of Art Brut.Performances dates : 02.12 8pm /// 03.12 7pm /// 04.12 8pm /// 05.12 6.30pmAt Théâtre de Vidy, av.
