Large windows, bistro furnishings and a wood floor give this café a bit of a Parisian touch. They serve wine, beer, cocktails and snacks, as well as authentic mint tea. A perfect spot for the afternoon.
That little extra from the food insider "The Lausanne Guide": cosy and slightly retro, the Bar Tabac has the charm of cafés of yesteryear.

An intimate and peaceful café that invites you to linger. Located at Rue Beau-Séjour, the Bar Tabac has retained all the charm of days gone by with its menu and its unusual décor. One of my favourite cafés to study or work!

The Bar Tabar has been open for several years now and is located near the Lausanne Opera. The current manager, Mehmet Genç, knows his customers well and always has a kind word or a joke for each. This neighbourhood bar is open all day for breakfast or apéro.
