Lausanne Cathedral

HeritageArchitectureHistory

Lausanne's iconic cathedral has towered over the city for more than eight centuries. A masterpiece of Gothic art, it captivates visitors with the harmony of its architecture, the richness of its sculpted details and the serenity it inspires. From its tower, an exceptional panorama opens up over the roofs of the Cité, Lake Geneva and the Alps.

Due to the renovation of the vaults in the south transept, the rose and its stained glass windows will be inaccessible until spring 2027.

Hungry as a wolf? I suggest you try this crazy brunch! On the menu: English breakfast, avocado toast or burgers, all that served with a plate of pancakes. As an included extra treat: homemade ice tea! Book ahead as it’s very popular!

More info

Things are very simple at the Crazy Wolf - you choose your meal (mainly burgers!), decide whether or not you want chips/fries with it (or baked potatoes) and a salad. Another point - it’s all made in-house and Crazy Wolf puts a lot of effort into selecting local products for its dishes which you can then enjoy in a funky setting.
The Crazy Wolf also offers brunch every Sunday. The à la carte menu also features scrumptious pancakes, avocado on toast, eggs mimosa and delicious chai latte.
