Lausanne Cathedral

HeritageArchitectureHistory

Lausanne's iconic cathedral has towered over the city for more than eight centuries. A masterpiece of Gothic art, it captivates visitors with the harmony of its architecture, the richness of its sculpted details and the serenity it inspires. From its tower, an exceptional panorama opens up over the roofs of the Cité, Lake Geneva and the Alps.

Due to the renovation of the vaults in the south transept, the rose and its stained glass windows will be inaccessible until spring 2027.

Le Meraki, with its terrace overlooking the Place de la Riponne, welcomes you for coffee, drinks or a Mediterranean-inspired meal with “mezze” (a kind of Greek tapas) and “tigelles” (small round sandwiches with a delicious filling). All these dishes are prepared on the premises with ingredients as local as possible.

Le Meraki seeks to satisfy more than your taste buds as it also puts many board games at your disposal on its mezzanine to make sure you have a good time with family or friends.
